My Rejected Owl Short Story on Vocal.Media (What I Did Wrong)

I submitted this story to Vocal.Media, but it was rejected for religious reasons. Don’t run away screaming just yet: this isn’t a hate story. I like Vocal.Media; I think the site was ultimately the wrong place for the story.

I was hoping to submit the story to the barn owl challenge but unfortunately, that won’t be happening.
